Q.What services does Too Cool Jools provide?
A. There are lots of fascinating aspects to beading, and we do many of them! We design, craft, and sell custom lanyards/ ID tags, cuff links, necklaces, bracelets and earrings. These are sold through local retail establishments, at art and craft shows, at home bead shows, by special order, and through this web- site. In addition to making jewelry, we also offer repairs on costume jewelry. Contact us directly, explaining your needs, if you are interested in this service. We also offer beading classes. These are available through a local hobby store, at home beading parties, and even through an after- school program at a local middle school. We have had successful bracelet-makers who range in age from 5 to 93! The guys are not excluded from this. There were males in the after- school program and my own adult sons all wear guy bracelets. Give it a try yourself!
Q.Making a bracelet sounds too hard for me. Is help available?
A. Not to worry. Many people have felt the same way, but by the end of the beading class, they had a great looking bracelet. Much individual attention is available through every step of the process. It doesn't hurt either that the instructor has had over 30 years of teaching experience. You will succeed!
Q.I am interested in hosting a beading party. How many people can be invited?
A.In order to be sure that everybody gets sufficient attention, I suggest a maximum of 8 people.
Q.What can be made at a beading party? And how much does it cost?
A.There are several styles of bracelets that can be made at a beading party and the cost depends on the variety made. One option is a class in making a stretch bracelet as well as a wrap- around bracelet for $15 plus materials, per person. A lanyard for an ID tag or eye-classes is the same price, $15 plus materials, per person. A class in making a toggle closure bracelet is $20 plus materials, per person. There is a another class in making a coiled bracelet, but that one requires some previous beading experience. (It is a very cool bracelet!) These same classes are available at Hobby Lobby, Racine, WI, for the same prices. In that case though, your supplies must be purchased through Hobby Lobby. We do a walk- through of the beading aisles so that you have help in selecting your supplies. These classes are usually offered on Tuesday evenings or Saturday afternoons, although other times are also possible. Just drop us an e-mail.
Q.How can I order from Too Cool Jools?
